With the hope to retain its market presence in 2018, Qualcomm on Wednesday announced a list of innovations that are designed to enhance wireless connectivity as well as to bring new experiences to the world of virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI). The San Diego-based company has announced the first integrated 802.11ax-ready Wi-Fi chip solution called WCN3998, which includes 2x2 antennas and supports WPA3 encryption. The company has also unveiled a new VR Reference Design based on the Snapdragon 845 SoC and an updated TrueWireless Stereo technology. The new developments will reach customers later this year. Zopo Announces P5000 & Z5000 Smartphones with Dual rear Cameras

Zopo has announced two new mid-range Smartphones called as P5000 and Z5000. Both the device will come with dual rear camera setup and also feature similar specs sheet except for the display size. The Zopo P5000 will be coming in Black and Red color variants while the Z5000 will be available in Gold and Black color variants. The company has not given any information about the pricing and the availability of these handsets and are expected to be coming out soon. Coming to the specifications of these devices, both Zopo P5000 and Z5000 will be powered with a 1.8GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6750T) processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. These handsets support dual SIM cards but the secondary SIM slot is a hybrid slot where the user can use it for a nano SIM or a microSD card.
